* The Geeting Bridge, #13, is the only bridge ever built in Monroe Township. Before it was built in 1894, Price's Creek at that spot was crossed by ford and on foot log. The bridge was damaged in 1914 during a windstorm, which removed the roof, and again in 1969 when a truck over the height limit ripped out the roof framing. Floor beams have been broken by overloaded trucks, but the bridge has been repaired and restored each time. The bridge was named for David Geeting, the landowner. It has been designated a National Historic Site.
